Raising money for the Breast Cancer Care charity

Each year, the International Photography Competition raises money to support younger women with breast cancer.

The 2012 Renaissance Photography Prize received more than 5,000 entries from around the world, raising £55,000 for The Lavender Trust at Breast Cancer Care. The voting process for this competition tends to be very intensive for the panel of five judges, composed of top professionals from the photography world, Fiona Gifford, Founder of the Renaissance Photography Prize explains how Angage helped to ease the process:

The judges have to choose 100 prints to be exhibited in the prestigious Mall Galleries in the heart of London and this year I was looking for ways to improve the voting process to assist with speed and fairness. I was impressed with the Angage team’s willingness to help and their customer service.

Angage was on site to accompany the event, secure judges' votes and ensure the fairness of their decisions. By attributing a voting keypad to each voting judge, the Angage solution gathered clear and reliable results from each judge and contributed to make the voting process an easy and quick experience.

Prints of the winning photographs and those exhibited can be ordered online to continue to raise money for The Lavender Trust at Breast Cancer Care.

Angage is proud to have taken part to such an event as well as to announce that the Renaissance Photography Prize has raised more than £200,000 for breast cancer since 2007.
